New kitchen set-up

I have a kitchen with no counters and no storage. We had 3 sets of pots and pans and sone mismatched saucepans and skillets. Santa brought new cookware. I visited the Container Store for three racks. Here's the result. All new cookware, all others were set out on the curb. They were snatched up in a matter of hours and I have some space to breathe.

New Year Resolution...

I had a goal for Melissa.  It was to start the New Year with a completely organized home.  I think perhaps she lost her focus.  This makes me sad because I know how an organized home makes me feel at ease.  A cluttered home with too much "stuff" in it stifles people from achieving.  It keeps them in ruts.  It prevents them from moving forward.

Perhaps she will see the light again soon.  She stopped at the kitchen.  Probably because it was the last stop until we got to the room she doesn't WANT to tackle.  The living room that has all her books in it.  Whatever.  I will put it out of my mind.  I won't worry about it any more.  It is her home.  And if she's happy, then so be it. 

So, I will change the focus of this blog to Andrew and my home.  I struggle with organizing my home and I'll share my trip with you...  I'm excitied to show you my kitchen.  We reworked it over my winter vacation and now we have tons of room.  (But still too much dog hair...)
